On Dialogue

Christians can hardly expect Muslims to take the Bible seriously unless they—Christians—take the Qur’an seriously.

The 2012 Youtube clip “The Innocence of Muslims”  represents the complete antithesis of dialog, revealing as it did the folly of those Christians who think slander and deception  more powerful than grace and truth.

It’s tragic that so few Christians know what the Qur’an says about Jesus. We must stop talking past each other and start listening.

It’s also tragic that so few Muslims know the Qur’an says a lot about Jesus without ever engaging with the Jesus of the New Testament.
